Itinerary of the Morocco Tour From Casablanca 8 Days:

Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen

On the first day of our trip, we will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca and visit the big Hassan II Mosque. You’ll have time to see its beautiful design by the ocean. After that, we will explore a little of Casablanca before starting our drive.

Next, we’ll go to Rabat, the capital city, where we will visit the Hassan Tower and the Royal Palace. You’ll have some time to look around and take pictures. After a break for lunch, we’ll continue our journey.

Later in the day, we will reach Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted streets. You’ll have time to walk around and enjoy the peaceful city. We’ll spend the night at a local hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

We will start the day in Chefchaouen, where you can enjoy walking through its blue streets. Take your time to explore and take pictures of this stunning town. After that, we will leave Chefchaouen and drive toward Volubilis.

At Volubilis, we will visit the ancient Roman ruins. You’ll have time to walk around and see the old mosaics and stone buildings. After exploring Volubilis, we will head to Meknes, a historic city nearby.

In Meknes, we will visit the famous Bab Mansour gate and the old royal stables. After some sightseeing, we will continue our trip to Fes, where we’ll spend the night at a traditional hotel.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour

On Day 3, we will explore the old city of Fes with a local guide. You’ll start by visiting the Royal Palace and the famous Blue Gate, which is the entrance to the medina. You’ll see narrow streets in the medina, which are full of shops and traditional crafts.

We will visit some important spots in Fes, like the ancient Al Quaraouiyine University and the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa. You’ll also see the famous tanneries, where leather is made using traditional methods. It’s a great place to take pictures of the colorful dye pits.

After exploring the medina, we will visit the Jewish Quarter and an old fortress with a view of the city. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel in Fes to rest after a full day of sightseeing.

Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Cedar Forest → Middle Atlas Mountains → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert

On Day 4, we will leave Fes and head to Ifrane, a small town known for its clean streets and cool weather. It’s sometimes called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its unique look. After a short stop, we will continue driving to the Cedar Forest.

In the Cedar Forest, you’ll see tall trees and spot some monkeys so you can feed them. We’ll take a break to enjoy nature before continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll see beautiful views of valleys and hills.

As we drive, we will pass through the Ziz Valley with its palm trees, and then reach the Merzouga Desert. In the evening, you’ll ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars and enjoy berber dinner and music.

Day 5: Full Day to Explore Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi - Nomads → Khamlia "Gnaoua" → M'ifis Mines → Merzouga Lake → Palm Grove Forest)

On Day 5, you will have a full day to explore the Sahara Desert. We’ll start by visiting a nomad family living in traditional tents. You’ll learn about their simple way of life in the desert. After that, we’ll visit the village of Khamlia, where you can listen to Gnaoua music.

Next, we will explore the M’fis Mines, where locals used to work. You’ll also see Merzouga Lake, which is home to many birds during certain times of the year. It’s a quiet and beautiful place in the desert.

Later, we will visit the Palm Grove Forest, a green area in the middle of the desert. After a day full of adventure, we’ll return to the town to spend the night in a cozy riad on the edge of the desert.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert → Rissani → Todra Gorge → Boumalne Dades

On Day 6, we’ll leave the Merzouga Desert after breakfast and drive to Rissani. This town is famous for its traditional market, where locals buy and sell goods. You’ll have time to walk around and explore the lively market.

Next, we’ll head to the stunning Todra Gorge, where high cliffs rise on both sides of a river. It’s a great place to take a short walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. 

After visiting Todra Gorge, we’ll continue driving to Boumalne Dades. Along the way, you’ll see amazing rock formations and beautiful valleys. We’ll spend the night at a riad in Boumalne Dadess.

Day 7: Boumalne Dades → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

On Day 7, we will leave Boumalne Dades and head to Ouarzazate, a city known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Here, we can visit movie studios where famous films were made. After a short stop, we’ll continue our journey.

Next, we’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou, a famous old village made of mud and bricks. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and has been used in many movies. You’ll have time to walk around and explore this amazing place.

After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll drive through the High Atlas Mountains. The road offers beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. By evening, we’ll reach Marrakech, where you’ll rest at your hotel/riad.

Day 8: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

On The last day of our trip, we will explore the famous city of Marrakech with a guide. We’ll start by visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, known for its tall minaret and beautiful gardens. Then, we’ll head to the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you’ll see performers, market stalls, and local food stands.

Next, we’ll visit the stunning Bahia Palace, with its colorful tiles and peaceful courtyards. After that, we’ll explore the Saadian Tombs, a historic site with beautiful carvings and tombs. Later, we’ll enjoy a quiet walk in the Jardin Secret, a hidden garden in the medina.

We’ll end the day at the Majorelle Garden, filled with exotic plants and vibrant blue buildings. You’ll also have time to walk through the old medina, explore the souks, and find unique Moroccan crafts.
