Know Before You Go:

1. Comfortable Clothing: Wear light, comfy clothes that are easy to move in, and good walking shoes. You’ll be exploring cities, mountains, and deserts.

2. Monkeys in the Forest: You might see monkeys in the Cedar Forest. It’s okay to feed them, but don’t get too close or try to touch them—they can get scared and act out.

3. Desert Temperature: The desert can be very hot during the day and very cold at night. Bring layers so you can add or remove clothes to stay comfortable.

4. Cash is Handy: Many small shops, restaurants, and markets might not take cards, so it’s good to have some cash with you for snacks, souvenirs, and meals.

5. Camel Ride Tips: Riding a camel in the Sahara is a great adventure, but it can be a little bumpy. Hold on tight, enjoy the view, and don’t worry if it feels wobbly at first!

6. Sun Safety: The sun can be strong, especially in desert areas, so don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from sunburn.

7. Stay Hydrated: Bring a water bottle and drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially when it’s warm. It’s easy to get dehydrated in the sun.

8. Take Photos: You’ll see lots of beautiful places, from mountain views to desert dunes. Make sure to bring a camera or your phone to capture these moments.

9. Local Vendors: You might meet local vendors selling crafts and souvenirs. If you’re not interested, a polite “no, thank you” usually works well.

10. Limited ATMs: ATMs might be hard to find in some small towns or rural areas, so make sure to bring enough cash for meals, tips, and any shopping you might want to do.

Accommodation Options: Luxury Vs Standard

1. Desert Camps

In the Sahara Desert, you can choose a Standard Camp with simple Berber tents and shared bathrooms. It’s basic, but you’ll get to enjoy dinner and breakfast under the stars. If you want more comfort, you can stay in a Luxury Camp with private tents, bathrooms, and electricity for a more comfortable stay.

2. Riads/Hotels

In cities and towns, like Fes and Boumalne Dades, you can stay in Standard Riads/Hotels with clean rooms in a traditional Moroccan style. For a more comfortable experience, Luxury Riads/Hotels have modern features like air conditioning, and some even have pools. Meals are included in both options during your stay.

Note: If these camps or hotels are full, we will find other nice places for you to stay, so you can still have a great time in Morocco.
